Search Engine Optimisation is the process of making your site as friendly as possible to the search engine robots which decide where your site is ranked.
Having a website is all well and good, but what if no one can find your products? The overwhelming majority of all internet activity starts with a search query, and if your site doesn't rank well for the keywords that are relevant to your products and services, then you're missing out on a huge amount of potential traffic, and sales.
If you look at owning a website like owning a shop, SEO is the process of moving your shop from its back-alley location, and placing it prominently on a high-street where all the shoppers are.
We generally only offer SEO to clients that we are building websites for, but might consider jobs where the website is already live and are always happy to discuss the subject.
Some companies may contact you offering ''SEO Maintenace' every month for extortionate amounts of money, that has very little benefit and is not an effective way to spend your money. SEO is an extremely competitive industry, and as such it's very sercretive - which is the only reason that these companies get away with charging for these services.
The difference with us is, we're a creative company. We dont want to sell you something you really dont need. We see marketing as an important part of any website, so we optimise your site once, and then provide you with enough help and advice for you to keep your site performing well in the future. We are of course, still available to all of our clients for consultation after the initial SEO work is complete, so you always have a resource to come back to if you get stuck.
We offer 2 levels of Search Engine Optimisation with our web design packages, the first, BASIC, is included in the price quoted, the second ADVANCED is an additional cost. The following chart shows the difference between the two.
